Eat Pray Love

Eat, Pray, Love summary from chapter 1 until 36
     At the end of this semester, my lecturer ask me to do an assignment to read a novel. And this time I will give a mini summarize about the chapter I've read in this book that name Eat, Pray, Love.

    In the first chapter of the book, the author tells the reader about her visit to Italy. In Italy, Elizabeth who is the author that share her mid 30s and her divorce with her husband mets an Italian man, named Giovanni. Elizabeth mets Giovanni from an adverstisement flier about learning each others language together, Eizabeth helps Giovanni to learn English, and Giovanni will helps her learn Italian which her wanted to learn that language so bad. Long after they met frequently, Eliz realize that she likes Giovanni in a romantical way. But, too bad Giovanni didn’t like her back.

   At the next chapter, Elizabeth tells the reader about her marriage-life which she’s not happy about it. Elizabeth didn’t want a child, She didn’t want to be pregnant. So. She decided to divorce with her husband. After, divorced with her husband, everything not automatically be easy or nice. Eliz is involved with some conflict with her ex-husband about their wealth. Eliz is offered 50:50 shares of their wealth but her ex-husband refused to.

   After her divorced, Eliz experienced several mental health issues, depression, and psychosomatic, she would throw up her breakfast every morning. Finally, Eliz found the presence of God in her life during her hards time. Eliz is born a Christian but never really committed to it. So She remains not be a part of any religion.

   After divorced, She also meets David whom she fell in love. They love each other, though Eliz thought that it feels like she is being the one who loves him A LOT, like David doesn’t love or like him in the same WAY and MORE like her do. So they broke up after living together under the same roof. Though, they decided to get back together, but not long after that they separated again and this time is for good.

   Eliz finally live in Italy. She quit her job, paid off her divorce settlement and legal bills, given up her house, her apartment. She's going to travel the world.
Eliz live her life in Italy and start to take an Italian class. Oh yeah I had to inform you that the first chapter is about her visit Italy but the setting place and time at this novel is mixed-plot.
