Giving a name is a responsibilities.

  Do you guys ever think how in the world your Mommy and Daddy comes up with an idea to give you the name you've been using your whole life?


Like in this case, what's inside of their brain to give their son this names?

Or this?

   What they've been through inside their Mom's womb to deserve this kind of name? The name they will use for the rest of their life.

   I keep on questioning, is it really true that name is a prayer of a parents for their children? Or giving a name for children is just a TRIVIA things, that all parents can do. 

   While, we often find someone's weird names in Indonesia. There are some country that has a strict rules and even banned several names.

   Norway is one of the country that has a strict rules for naming a new-born baby. Naming your new-born baby with last name as a first name is prohibited in Norway. The names that considered will be a major disadvantage for the baby's future will not be accepted. Malaysia also one of the country that has a strict rules for naming a new-born baby. There are some names that considering as 'undesireable' in Malaysia, it is animals, insults, numbers, royal or honorary names, and food.

 Now, when will we stop giving our new-born baby a ridiculous name? What our son and daughter will go through during first day of elementary when the teacher ask them to introducing their name to the whole class? Will we ever know how they feel when the whole class laugh at our son and daughter's name? No.

 It's better to find the most normal and acceptable names. And in the end, we are the parent's of our children, and give them the best name is one of our responsibilities.
